Anaerobic Digestion Process Design
Design and control of all the system processes for a 500m3 batch-fed anaerobic digestion system. In this project we were responsible for designing the heating system, biogas system, liquid waste system and developing the control and operating strategies.

De Montfort University
Design, installation and operation of a hybrid renewable energy system that integrated three major sources of renewable energy; 25kW wind turbine, 120m3 anaerobic digester (generating biogas from either animal or vegetable waste) and a 50kg/h gasifier (generating producer gas from either short rotation coppice or wood waste). The objective of this EU JOULE project was to discover how to use each renewable energy source to its best advantage within a hybrid system and whether such a system could provide an economic and reliable electrical power supply for rural communities.

Assistance in developing an integrated district heating system for their campus, which incorporates a wood-fired CHP unit.

Design and installation of a 5kWp roof mounted PV System which is connected to the local electricity grid.

USEC, Mauritius
Anaerobic Digestion Process Design
Design of an anaerobic digestion system for a major Mauritius sugar producing company. This design considered all elements of the waste treatment process, including waste handling systems, CHP and grid connection.

Willow Tree Community Farm, Nottinghamshire
Design and build of a small hybrid power generation system. The design integrates PV and wind to power demonstration equipment. In addition, solar thermal water heating systems are used to provide hot water to the restaurant and heat an animal house.
